Fake 1.0 is now available for purchase at http://fakeapp.com at a special introductory price of $29.95. It’s also available via Software Update.
All prior Demo versions are set to expire tomorrow, September 1.
Note that 1.0 is a Free Feature-Limited Trial until you purchase a License. The Trial version of Fake 1.0 is fully-featured *except* for:
- You can’t open and save Workflows.
- You can’t create Fake Workflows with more than 8 Actions.
Again, once you purchase and install a License, these restrictions are removed.

Would it be feasible to add actions to simulate mouse cursor movement to Fake? Specifically, I want to draw something in a Flash paint canvas in the page…

Love the idea of the app and could find it potentially extremely useful for automated verification & testing.
However, right now I can’t find a way of programmatically inserting data from an OS file into HTML input fields (specifically, text areas). The existing “Set value” actions only provide a small input field for manual entry, whereas I need to be able to slurp in a file’s contents for my uses.
Do you think such a feature will be incoming anytime soon?
